About
Why this site exists
I have been building counterweight trebuchets since 2014, and I write down what I learn so the next machine goes together with fewer broken boards.
The machines are built in a driveway and thrown in a parking lot in Colorado. The videos are on YouTube. The drawings, parts lists and field notes are here, including the numbers I never measured, which are marked as gaps instead of guessed.
The plans for the 2023 machine are free to download and are licensed CC BY-NC 4.0. If you build one, I would like to hear how it went.
